Every session experience becomes official with the $100 initial retainer and signed contract that secures a time and date. Ideally, we'll schedule your session during the gorgeous light that accompanies the golden hour of sunset.
Once booked we will arrange a time to chat as every session includes a personalized consultation to ensure your session is comfortable, fun, and beautifully represents the personalities of you and your loved ones. During this chat as well as through additional email correspondence, we will decide on the perfect session location, discuss styling tips, suggestions, and resources, as well as how to prepare yourself, kids, significant other, etc. for an enjoyable experience.
Additionally, within 24 hours of your session I will check in to discuss possible changes in the weather, and any last minute adjustments, questions, or concerns. Then finally, we have a ton of fun together at your session!
One to two weeks after our session you will receive a proofing gallery for you to make your image selections. The fully edited gallery will be sent within two weeks (unless otherwise noted) after the receipt of final image selections in addition to any remaining payment.
Add-ons available for full sessions include, but are not limited to: more than 25 edited images, extended family sessions, newborn sessions, session location further than 30 miles from Rochester city center. Pricing details for add-ons available when booking.
Need a quick updated family photo? Or just want a more affordable and brief option for another type of session- couple, kid's milestone, mommy and me, headshot, etc. (excluding extended family sessions) this 15 minute session option is for you!

Mini sessions are only offered on specific dates, times, and locations- click the link below to see when and where upcoming slots are available.
A mini session is $50 to book which includes your 15 min time slot and a proofing gallery from which you can choose which photos you would like to be edited and delivered in a downloadable gallery.
Once you select a date and time on the scheduler (but before you pay) there will be a form for you to fill out that also provides more information on those specific mini sessions such as current pricing for edited images, location, and back up dates.
The proofing gallery will be ready within 2 weeks after your session date. You will then have 7 days to choose and purchase your images for final delivery. Final purchases will include basic retouching and creative editing of images, as determined by the photographer.
